| Introduction The Fellowship of
Isis was founded at Clonegal Castle on the vernal equinox, 1976 by the Hon. Olivia
Robertson, her brother, Sir Lawrence Durdin-Robertson, Baron of Strathloch and his wife
Pamela. The Manifesto of the Fellowship sets out the essential aims. In May 1982 the number of members reached 2,924 in 44 countries with 78 centers. By April 1992, membership had reached 11,241 in 73 countries. Now, as of June 1999, we are over 15,000 members strong, in more than 93 countries all over the world.
